• A few members have worked together before and tend to work mostly with each other.

• There are 12 team members, all colocated.

• All members are mobile, ages 25 to 50.

• Budget is $100 per person.

• One day can be allocated to this event.

What will you plan?

There are a number of things you’ll need to take into consideration. If the team is not working well, you need to remove them from their work environment. If they are forming into cliques, you need to get them in an environment where they work with team members who aren’t in their groups. You have a reasonable budget and people who can move around. Look into things like ropes courses, small-group escape rooms, or scavenger hunts. Don’t even think about movies, theme parks, or allowing people to choose their own group for an exercise. Think about box lunches so there’s no excuse for team members to sit at a table with their usual cohorts.
